Why we do what we do
We take traditional physical therapy evaluation and intervention, then pair and progress it with performance training.
As Doctors of Physical Therapy in the healthcare system for 10+ years, we became frustrated by insurance company’s power over our patient's treatment based on dollars rather than needs. Our time spent with patients was being whittled away to as little as 15 minutes per patient visit.
Humans are complex, and deserve much better. So we built Go Further Physio.
Meet the Team
Dr. Taylor Gilbert, PT, DPT, OCS
Taylor Gilbert graduated with a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2015. She is board certified in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties: an advanced certification held by only 6% of orthopedic PTs. Additionally, she is a Pelvic Health Specialist certified by the Institute of Clinical Excellence. She is also certified in Dry Needling by ODNS.
All this is fancy speak to say that Taylor has a relentless pursuit in bettering herself to help her patients resolve their movement problems and optimize their health. She takes a holistic and functional approach to each patient, tailoring their treatment to their individual ecosystem.
Outside of the clinic Taylor spends time with her husband, two boys and golden retriever. You can find her on the slopes or on the trails asking if her husband wants to lose :).
Dr. Dain Gilbert, PT, DPT, COMT
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I help solve your movement problems. Movement is one of the great levers of health, and the world we have created is often at odds with both the quality and quantity of movement we need. My purpose is to help improve the QUALITY of your movement, so that you can engage in the QUANTITY of your choice movement. The human body has always intrigued me with it’s resilient simplicity, while also being frustratingly complex. While my specialty is in the musculoskeletal system, I keep my lens wide to address you as a whole person. I am also interested in understanding the health of your sleep, nutrition, hydration, spirituality, culture, stress, breathing, and community.
In addition to my professional credentials, I am certified in dry needling by ODNS.
My professional interests include: running analysis, bike fits, strength programming, and making movement accessible to underserved people.
Outside of the clinical realm, I enjoy playing with my wife and boys, biking, running, and skiing. I also enjoy most music (DMB = favorite), hot saunas, and adventure novels with coffee and morning sun in my eyes.
Get in touch.
We would love to learn more about the movement problem you have.
